1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper! Im a miserable wrapper, but I think that adds character to the gift ;)

2. Real tree or artificial?
Artificial... Im afraid my pup will get confused if i bring a real tree inside

3. When do you put up the tree?
This year i put it up before thanksgiving... With finals and leaving town, i wanted to have time to enjoy it.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Probably right after New Years....

5. Do you like eggnog?
i LOVE eggnog!!!

6. Favorite gift as a child?
I can't remember one in particular. I got great gifts though :)

7. Hardest person to buy for?
Mark! But Iraq doesn't help!

8. Easiest person to buy for?
My sister... we love the same stuff!

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
I have one in a snow globe! its under my tree!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
MAIL!!! I got a ton this year (thanks to the lovely ladies of SG) and it was amazing!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
If i got a bad one, i dont remember it. But it was probably from my Grammy :/

12. Favorite Christmas movie?
I like the animated rudolph movie :)

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
I try to get everything done before thanksgiving, because i know that after... is gonna be a mess

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
i have no idea. i dont even remember whats wrapped under my tree right now, never mind last years gifts

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
mundel bread! a family tradition

16. Lights on the tree?
Yup!! Colors! My tree is every color of the rainbow!

O Holy Night, and Carol of the Bells

Ill be traveling this year :)

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet, Cupid, Dawner, Blitzen, Rudolph!!

Actually... a big red bow

21. When do you open presents?
My family usually does one on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas day. Who knows what we'll do this year.(i second this!)

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Traffic is insane this time of year and the crowds SUCK! (oh i second this too!!)

23. Favorite ornament theme or color?
Right now my tree is fun and colorful, who knows what theme will come up with when Mark is back :)

24. Favorite Christmas dinner?
Ham!! with secret sauce!

25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Mark :/ hahah VERY fat chance, but a girl could wish :)

26. What was the first gift of Christmas?
Being healthy and happy I guess :) Getting my internships set in NC, and finishing up school

Tomorrow is a big day for me! My person is coming down from Charleston to visit me! We always have so much fun together, and it'll be a good break right before finals. She won't be here long, but it'll be good enough. Then starting Monday it's FINALS TIME!! I should be used to it now that its what my.... .5th year of college? But I still hate it. Plus its my first set of finals in the PTA program here. So who knows what to expect!

My closest friend here is relocating to Fort Hood. That's hit me surprisingly hard today. I don't know why i let myself get so attached to people. I better learn quick I guess. As soon as Mark and I get together I feel like it's all moving around from there!

So besides that not much is going on here. The holidays are coming up, so after finals i'll have alot of traveling to do. Off to Columbus first, then to spend a weekend with Marks family, then home for the holidays!!! Back to my house, then to Charleston for New Years! God bless my friends and family for keeping me so busy! I'd be dying without them! I've realized that there is nothing worse than a quite house when you're waiting for someone. Mark and I do truly owe all of our friends for keeping me sane through all this.... JUST A FEW MORE MONTHS UNTIL I GET THE OTHER HALF OF MY HEART BACK!! Its been far too long, and it can't come soon enough!

First things first

So my lovely ladies of SG got me started on this "blogging" kick. Maybe it'll work out? One of the ladies I rehab told me the best thing shes ever done in her life was to keep a journal... This counts right? The love of my life is gone, I'm full time in school, I'm away from home, and in a few months when my SO comes home my life will turn completely upside down! Yeah, sounds like a good time to start :)
